Since the doors opened in 2019 at 288 Lark Wine & Tap, Chef Ali introduced his guests to the famous Flambé Cacio e Pepe cheese pasta from Rome, Italy. Chef Ali continued and expanded the menu when he opened next door in 2020 at 286 Lark St. at the Villa di Como Ristorante where he continues to cook dinners by reservations.

Chef Ali follows in the footsteps of his uncle, who owns three restaurants and a hotel in Lago di Como, Italy. This is where Chef Ali furthers his cooking skills and brings back family recipes such as Hot Italian Oil, Marinara Sauce, Authentic Pasta, Pizza, Octopus Carpaccio, Risotto, Fresh Fennel, Long Hot Peppers, Cannellini Beans and Tagliata Filet Mignon for his guests to enjoy.

Chef Ali prides himself in serving the finest Italian dishes prepared with fresh Italian ingredients and the best vegetables and meats available locally. The use of these ingredients combined with his culinary skills and the love he adds to his cooking allows his guests to enjoy their meal whether in his restaurants or the comfort of their own home.

Hot Italian Oil is an Extra Virgin Olive Oil blend infused with Calabrian chili, fresh garlic, shallots, fresh basil, and kosher salt. This delicious condiment is handmade in small batches by Chef Ali with love. Hot Italian Oil has become an instant popular condiment among our dine-in guests.
